Looking Back: 20 Years of Atlantic Voices – Apr 2023

On Sunday April 30th, 2023 Atlantic Voices wrapped up its 20th Anniversary season with a special program featuring highlights from the choir’s first two decades!

Over those 20 years, we shone the spotlight on each Atlantic Province (as well as presented special programs focused on Cape Breton and Labrador). We saluted some of our favourite songwriters, such as Allister MacGillivray and Stan Rogers. We gave concerts exploring our Irish and Scottish heritage, and paid tribute to the many other vibrant voices of the East Coast, especially the Acadian and African Nova Scotian traditions.

And of course, over 20 seasons we’ve returned again and again to our Newfoundland roots!

Special thanks to Marie Kusters for the original artwork on our concert poster!
