Atlantic Voices is proud to present its midwinter concert, featuring stirring songs of light and hope to warm your heart. Join us on the 25th for an afternoon of uplifting melodies — from the soothing sounds of African-Nova Scotian gospel to heartfelt, inspiring tunes from such artists as Stan Rogers, Gene MacLellan, and Allister MacGillivray.
The concert repertoire features songs of resilience and aspiration by writers who search deep within the heart and soar to the skies — or like New Brunswick-born poet Bliss Carman, who finds rest for the spirit in the natural world.
Join us at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, at Centretown United Church, 507 Bank Street. Doors open at 2:15 p.m. for a heavenly pre-show set by the Fumblin’ Fingers starting at 2:15 p.m. Reception to follow the show.
Tickets are $30 until Jan 24 and are available from choir members or through EventBrite (tickets.atlanticvoices.ca). Tickets are $35 on the day of the event, including at the door, and are free for children 12 and under.
Information on parking and our concert venue is here.
Once available, the full program will be posted here.
