On May 25th, 2025 Atlantic Voices presented Shorelines, a musical tour of the harbours, bays, coves, capes, and riverbanks of the Atlantic provinces—with side trips to a few more distant shores. The program featured Newfoundland classics such as Let Me Fish Off Cape St. Mary’s and A Great Big Sea Hove in Long Beach, as well as contemporary gems by Stan Rogers, Robbie Smith, Buddy Wasisname, and James Gordon of Tamarack.
We also celebrated a prize-winning selection from our inaugural composition contest in 2012: The Brass Band of the Cove, written by Ottawa’s late multi-talented Kurt Walther.

Special thanks to Abigail Sanchez Rojas for the original artwork on our concert poster!
